The communications satellite Yahsat 1A was launched 22 April 2011 from the Arianespace's Guiana Space Centre in Kourou French Guiana by the Ariane 5 rocket. It was been built by order of the company Al Yah Satellite Communications by european companies Astrium and Thales Alenia Space. Al Yah Satellite Communications, AlYahsat is a company wholly owned subsidiary of Mubadala Development Company, the Abu Dhabi Government's investment company. TMSat started to work via Yahsat 1A (52.5°E) from 15 November 2016.
